G'day, I'm Bede.

I am a Creative Director who takes great pleasure in creating award-winning advertising ideas. I live in Sydney with my main squeeze and two sons, one of the human kind and the other the canine variety.

I’ve been recognised at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, AWARD, The One Club for Creativity, The New York Festival – and one of my ideas is even permanently housed in the archives of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

My creative career started by studying graphic design at Shillington College and winning the prestigious ‘Some of the strangest shit we've ever seen’ award, after which I - of course - set my sights on a career in advertising. Since then I’ve been a former teammate - and current friend - of many employees at agencies like Che Proximity, The Monkeys and R/GA where I’ve undertaken format agnostic projects of all shapes and sizes. Everything from creating a giant illuminated playground for Samsung, to creating the worlds first bank of Reddit (which also became the most awarded post in reddit history) to finding a way for Australian ballet dancers to share their art with the world during COVID for Telstra. I’ve also been lucky enough to tutor AWARD school and win some local and international gongs along the way.

When I'm not vigorously wringing the ideas towel dry, I love to spend time with my little family, enjoy a good cup of coffee and paint colourful murals.
